Who We Are
An Indigenous-led facilities management partner
First People FM is based in Dubbo, with a corporate office in Sydney, New South Wales. We deliver facilities management services across commercial, government and institutional environments, providing tailored solutions to clients nationally.
Our core services include commercial cleaning, security services, property maintenance, pest inspection and control, and landscaping solutions.
What We Deliver

With extensive experience in cleaning, security operations and risk mitigation, First People FM delivers facilities services with a structured approach focused on safety, compliance and consistent performance.
We understand every client and site is different, which is why we build tailored service plans aligned with operational requirements, site conditions and agreed service outcomes. Our teams operate within live environments and deliver services with minimal disruption.
We invest in recruitment and vetting to ensure staff deployments are matched to scope, site requirements and client expectations.
Why We Exist
We saw a gap — and we built something better
First People FM was established in response to a clear gap in the market: the need for an authentic, Indigenous-led, managed and owned business to lead in the facilities management space.
At the same time, we saw non-Indigenous companies creating “Indigenous arms” to access Indigenous procurement opportunities without genuine ownership or leadership. First People FM was created to change that.
We’re not here to tick a box. We’re here because we believe Aboriginal businesses should be leading in every space — not just represented.
Safety & Compliance
First People FM operates with a strong safety culture supported by site-specific planning, risk management and documented procedures. We deliver services in accordance with WHS obligations and maintain clear reporting and communication throughout service delivery; particularly in government and high-traffic environments.

One Circle, Many Paths tells the story of individuals from different walks of life coming together with shared purpose, grounded by the land they work on. The central red circle represents the earth — our foundation — while surrounding elements honour the forces of nature: flowing water, the air we breathe, cultural fire practices, and the bush foods gifted by Country.
This piece reflects unity, collaboration, and deep respect for the land that sustains and connects us. Each path is unique, yet all are guided by one circle — many journeys, one shared ground.
